Ever since he cooked in the kitchen with his mom as a little boy, Kevin has had a passion for food. It wasn’t enough to cook in numerous hotels and restaurant kitchens, and to read every cookbook (which he still does), Kevin had to satisfy his desire to know everything about food by attending culinary school in San Francisco. Now as the owner of the Beach Grass Café, Kevin has fulfilled his lifelong dream of running his own restaurant.
As a family, we define our success as being financially secure enough to not only support ourselves, but to be able to help others. It was and is our greatest aspiration and desire to be in a position to help worthy causes and to teach our children “to leave the world a better place.” It is with this in mind, that we hope that this restaurant will not only continue to please our customers with delicious food, but that it will allow us to “give back” to the community in an impactful and positive way throughout the years.
Without our wonderful employees, the Beach Grass Café would absolutely not be the cozy, frequented destination that it has become. Some of the staff have been with the restaurant since it first opened in 1999. We are so appreciative for their loyalty and consistent hard work. We value our employees as a crucial component of the restaurant’s continued success and we are forever thankful to them.
Open Daily: 7:30am – 3pm
Parking is available on the street and in the private lot behind the restaurant.
